Where can I find information about latent heat of vaporization (decomposition, evaporation) of polymers like polylactide?

I would like to understand better CO2 laser processing of such materials.

Thermodynamic data are important and many of them can be found in many Thermodynamic Handbooks or even in Handbook of Chemistry and Physics which must be somewhere in the shelves of the Main Library of Wroclaw University of Technology.

But, I would start the understanding of laser processing rather with absorption of light. The absorption of ir radiation can be tested with ir spectroscopy. Have also look on the following review:
