Hi, I remember that most turbine(wind) based distribution feeders are simulated with either Phasor or EMTP type simulation.

The main problem is that phasor simulate with a time-step around 1ms and EMTP simulation around 1µs. so if you use a phasor simulation, and supply a value every 1µs for the discrete EMTP simulation, it might simulate something similar to continuous.
