I am currently searching for hourly weather data covering the European domain. I have found quite useful the source "ERA5-Land hourly data from 1981 to present", but it seems this is providing climatological data and I probably cannot use them for representing weather.
Do you know whether are there available similar datasets (i.e. with high spatio-temporal resolution) providing data on weather?

You can apply suitably calibrated downscaling models (such as SDSM, WRF, SVM technique) over the course Spatio-temporal resolution dataset for obtaining high Spatio-temporal resolution based data on the regional weather over the preferred continent.

Of course you can use ERA5-Land hourly data from Climate Data Store. ERA5 stands for reanalysis, which combines model data with observations from across the world into a globally complete and consistent dataset using the laws of physics.

Thank you very much for this clarification. I was always worried to use the ERA5 Land hourly for extracting weather data. I was thinking it was more indicated for getting climatologies. What you said makes me more confident on the use of this product. Thanks
