You may contact Dipankar Chakraborti Jadavpur University Kolkata, India ([email protected] ). He is the most renowned scientist in India who has work on Arsenic
As you might know, the prevalence of occurring of arsenic contamination is alongside the Gangetic basin and the dissolution of arsenic from the deep down of the sub-surface to the aquifer system resulted due to the sudden over extraction of groundwater for agricultural purposes, particularly after the 'Green Revolution'. Here are a few articles those I prefer to follow for an idea of arsenic distribution in GW in different states of India covering the very North-West to the Middle Gangetic part to the very North-East and finally the West Bengal. Hope these articles might be helpful to you as well-
Gurmeet Singh You did say right that Prof. Dr. Dipankar Chakraborti is one of the pioneer scientist in India who worked on arsenic but it is a great lose for our scientific community that Dipankar Sir is no more with us.
