Search for universities with students participating in battling robot competitions. I wouldn't tell them you already wrote a thesis because they will expect you to take classes and study there for a significant period of time, maybe teach classes the professors don't want.

I have just been accepted by Wollongong Univesity so now all i need to do is find a grant to build the traction simulator. To me this is the most important part because it will be a hugh help to locomotives maintenance and I expect the servicing of the bogies to change from 3 years to 10 years because of the Slip/Slide control.
I made a lot of enemies on the faculty because I didn't know how to grovel. Thankfully, the Department Head and Assistant Dean plus several others were very supportive. If you need funding for anything, just paint it green and take a picture of it next to a tree and a kitty. I hope it's electric. If not, stick a solar panel on it anyway with a pink bow.
True story: The Spallation Neutron Source at Squander National Laboratory is a $1.4B toy just up the road from my house. They paid for the thing by telling Congress it would cure breast cancer.
