The best dielectric material for PCBM field effect transistors seems to be BCB, or divinyltetramethyldisiloxane bis(benzocyclobutene). But curiously, I can't find any material company that sells BCB, except for Dow Chemicals, where BCB seems to have a trade name of CYCLOTENE.
Is this Cyclotene really BCB? And exactly which type of Cyclotene can be used in FET for spin-coating process?

Hello Zhanhao, you can confirm if BCB is the same as CYCLOTENE by Cas number, however why don't you use cross-linked PVP from Sigma-Aldrich as a dielectric? It gives a very good performance.
Thank you, Fayez. But I can't find BCB's CAS number. And, is PVP really suitable for n-type transistor? I haven't found papers that used PVP in PCBM devices, though I can have a try.
i didn't find PVP used for n-type OTFT as well, but what's the problem ? it worth trying. Or SiO2 can be used, a lot of papers reported using it with both n-type and p-type OSCs.
No, still haven't. But BCB is not necessary for my recent research so I am not looking for it as urgent now. If needed, I think other good insulators out there can also be considered.
