In our research we did an online survey using mudsplashing and our participants stated that the mudsplash was the change, we are trying to come up with a better way to state this besides being direct and saying "the boxes are not the change," we felt that this would be leading the participants to search for the change instead of notice the change. If there is any research out there on how this was prevented it would be a great help and largely appreciated. 

We did a surplus of literature review as well and nobody could find an article on it.
