When submitting the research paper, can I send a research paper on behalf of someone else from my account at the journal?

I want to submit a manuscript to a scientific journal. But I am not a member of the paper and my name is not written on it (author or co-author). I will submit it on behalf of the corresponding author because he does not know how to submit and does not have an account.

I doubt that this will be accepted. However, with permission of your colleague and with his involvement you may create an account for him and do the necessary steps to submit his paper from that account.
