But If you are an expert and can open the mass unit, this error would be solved with cleaning.

You should remove quadrupole contacts firstly and clean them with very pure IPA or MeOH. Thereafter reinstall all of them based on the instrument guideline. you must be then ensured from accurate placement of all connections and the entire wires very carefully.
