Many physician's, orthopedic surgeon says they are not same but I thought they were the same thing Even in many book they wrote that both are same so why literature said that its a different condition.
If this two condition is different than how we can differentiate this condition in clinical examination.
Frozen shoulder is a later stage of adhesive capsulitis. Adhesive capsulitis is a more comprehensive term that includes freezing , frozen and resolution stages. Also, Adhesive capsulitis is a pathologic term that highlights the disease process. On the other hand, frozen shoulder is only a descriptive term to one of the stages od disease.
Frozen shoulder and adhesive capsulitis are both diagnoses.
They describe both symptom complexes with the aim to treat these symptoms.
Diagnoses are thus the linguistic attempt to grasp the symptoms with one term.
Therefore, it is not relevant to separate the terms as the therapeutic approach is the same.

On what bases you said that it was same. Because in current literature its said that by its singe and symptoms its same but its pathology and patho-anatomy its different for both.

The phenomenon described here seems to be discussing the difference between an inflammatory painful freezing shoulder and the later stages non-painful frozen shoulder. They are splitting hairs a bit.
Frozen shoulder refers to the stiffness phase of the disease. Having said that, usually the two terms are used interchangeably.
