I'm using Arcswat for GIS 10.2 and when delineating the watershed the number of outlets and the number of subbasins aren't equal but when I look at the topographical report their equal, for example, the number of outlets is 248 but the number of subbasins is just 2 but in the topographical report the number of subbasins is 248.
Does anyone know what's wrong with my watershed delineation?
In general, number of sub-basins are divided based on the stream definition and the outlet is a pour point where runoff from different sub-basins are accumulated. I hope in your case study 248 sub-basins might be correct as mentioned in your topographical report. I haven't tried multiple outlets in SWAT please check the extent of catchment area (>50000 sq.km) that you have applied. As outlet is assigned by you I hope it should be one I am not sure of multiple outlet but I am sure that if you chose fiber Stream definitions you will have more number of sub-basins delineated thus, 248 sub-basins are possible depending on the total study area.
