So far I have found that Google Satellite downloaded via the QuickMapServices plugin in QGIS gives me the best resolution. However, if anyone could suggest anything with an even better resolution, I would be really grateful. Many thanks.

1. USGS EarthExplorer: Satellite Imagery Available for Free.
2. Landviewer: Free Satellite Image Access.
3. Copernicus Open Access Hub: Free Satellite Imagery that is up to date.
4. Sentinel Hub: Access to Free High-Quality Satellite Images from a Variety of Sources.
