Soft and hard pellets;
soft pellets also known as cecotropes from the caecum, they are large and soft rich in vitamins and minerals. They are products of fermentation and are eaten by rabbits.
Hard pellets are small, round, and from the large intestines, they are not reingested by rabbits.
