I am using a large dataset with data on fragmentation/deforestation (response) and socio-economic/bio-geophysical factors (explanatory) at three different spatial scales.
I have found that there is variation in relationships between response and explanatory variable among the different spatial scales, using the random forest approach. However, so far I was not able to identify which and how relationships vary. Due to the large amount of variables and combinations between them, it is extremely time-consuming to assess visually which relationships are varying among the scales. Do you have any advice on how I can solve this or I can only do this visually?
Thanks in advance.
