Conducting an exploratory study of a novel intervention on stress, anxiety, depression in carers of psychosis sufferers. Cognitive measures included but I also wanted to include a physiological measure. It would need to be simple though as the intervention is specifically designed as remote to increase accessibility. Thus something participants could record themselves. Any thoughts would be wonderful. Thanks! Khanya

I would measure blood pressure and puls över a period of time, as well as the type and amount of medication the carers use.
Yes, the salivatory cortisol (morning and evening), but the prolactin level, blood pressure, heart rate, respiration, oximetry, osmolarity of plasma, PGR, ect., too.
In my opinion, it would be heart rate variability. Good luck.

Another good physiological measure of stress is galvanic skin response (GVR) or skin conductance. The technology is simple and cost effective.
