Try to use focus group discussion! It usually refer to a group of 10 or fewer individuals. The group usually consists of volunteers gathered to discuss a particular product or idea. They are asked a series of questions or are given statements to which they freely share their opinions, ideas and reactions. They may also be asked to try a new product or sometimes react to a particular show or film they have just viewed. All their responses are viewed and studied to measure the reaction of the larger market population. Focus groups are usually tools used by the advertising industry to measure the potential impact of a new product.
Have you decided whether you want to do qualitative work or quantitative? If you have only a few companies where you want to collect data, I would recommend doing qualitative interviews with key informants at each source.
Qualitative data can be useful in this type of study but choice of respondents, analysis of data would be a challenge for effective results. All the best!
