The heuristic will always give the same result, but I must make an evaluation of metaheuristics. I thought of choosing N instances, with dimensions varying between D_min and D_max, and repeat the metaheurisc runs for R runs in each instance. I will compare the worst, best and mean of metaheuristics with the result of heuristics. Any suggestion on the methodology or suggestion of an article with methodologies? Or this way of comparing is not very good? Thank you in advance and I hope it makes sense.
