In some electrochemical research like battery & supercapacitor, someone using calomel, someone using AgAgCl. What will be the variation in electrochemistry? which one is better for supercapacitor application. can anybody give a clear idea to me?
There is no difference between them, basically both of them a secondary reference electrode. These electrodes are affected by change the temperature sensor, concentration of electoyte and the resistance of it which drift with age of electrode. Your answer what is the best for your experiment I advise to use Hg/Hg2SO4,Cl if compared with the other types.
