I have a SISO system of active magnetic bearing, i/p of which is current and output is the combine displacement in x and y. the normal equation for force of both axis is like this : F1=m*d^2(y)/dt^2+mg for y axis and F2=m*d^2(x)/dt^2 for x axis. Now i want to control the combined displacement that is root(x^2+y^2) with single current input. So how can i write the combine force F, so that i can control ?
