TiO2/PVP with various PVP concentration were prepared. The diameter of the fiber increase with increase in PVP. What would be the effect on these diameter fiber when they will be calined?

The diameter of my prepared fibers are different. The small the PVP concentration, the small is the fiber diameter after annealing and vica versa. Any scientific reason? Any reason based on anatase and rutile phase of TiO2?
Maham Akhlaq PVP is a binding agent. It will increase the rheology properties of the sol-gel or slurry depends on its concentration. The greater the concentration, the greater the diameter of fiber. During annealing, every binder evaporates if the temperature is greater than their evaporating point which results in a decrease in the fiber diameter. If you want to stabilize your fiber diameter then you would have to anneal the fiber at a temperature lower than 250 C. Everything gets shrink after exposure to high temperature termed as "thermoforming".
