When you want to execute a Peak Search for PhaseID purpose its a good idea to start using the ParameterSet "Identify". If that ParameterSet doesn't locate all strong Peaks go for the "Default" one. Noise Peaks can be deleted by selecting the Peak(s) in the Peak List and hitting the Delete button.
Thank you Thomas Degen sir for your reply. Sir, can you please help me with how i can avoid too much noise when the default is selected and how can i edit Mineral name on peaks from Kaolinite - from Keokuk, Iowa, USA to just Kaolinite..?
Please have a look on attached file and help me if possible sir.
Hello Kaushal Kishor To decrease the Noise you need to measure longer, like 3 to 5 times as long, or measure more Scans and add them up. But as first measure you can increase "Minimum Significance" till no noise Peaks are found anymore. If you are then missing a couple of strong Peaks you can manually insert them.
Right Click into the main Graphics there you can switch ON/OFF Insert Peaks mode.
The Mineral name as Ref Pattern stick Label can be set here:
