I have conducted a risk assessment that identifies the highest risks in two different categories and need to show which projects should be funded to improve operations based on those two categories. I was trying to use a graph but the types I have tried are not helping me show the intersecting points. Anyone have advise?
I think you'll need to explain this a bit more. It's not clear to me what it is you're trying to depict. What are the categories you mention? Can we assume they have different risks that are the highest?
The simplest way I know to show different risk distributions among two groups is to have a double bar chart (example: http://www.basic-mathematics.com/double-bar-graphs.html).
Once you've established the differences between the categories, the next slide (assuming you're using slides) could show the estimated impact of the potential projects to be funded.
