What type of structure we should form if we water quench high carbon WR from 980 to 610 C in half second and then air cooled? Is there any Banite?

Chemical composition of 8 mm rod plain carbon steel ( % C- 0.8 , % Mn-=0.7 ). Because of fast quenching we see large difference of temperature from surface to core and momentary the surface temperature is found to be @ 300 oC but with in 1 sec we are getting temperature of 610 as the rod temperature is equalizing very fast.
