I'm very much interested in this topic. I'd be much obliged if you would forward all relevant publications including your publications as PDF files to:
In my case we are using with single or double tilding tensile stage in the microscope, we have option (depend the tilding angle of the stage), to improve the observing condition (be perpendicular to observing defects) and characterized the defect during the formation, when the level of applied stresses is controlled by TEM operator.
Paul! "characterized the defect during the formation, when the level of applied stresses is controlled by TEM operator" - Exciting R&D! I've used the Instron with XRD in the past for in situ Fatigue Life determination of AL2024 & AL7075 family of alloys.
There are three more choices of topics available to you at the TOP. When you select those, it is my opinion and experience that your question would get better circulation with more diverse responses along with additional participation. This is a very relevant and interesting topic for discussion.
I have experience to the deformation stage under high magnification in TEM microscope. More information you can got from my published article. We can together suggest " the role of tensile stage in Materials Science".
