The theme of Millet 2023 might consider a motto like Small Grain Huge Advantage Millet.
Campaign focuses on the ability of the crop to withstand and avoid drought and develop health benefits in diets and animal rations.
We all know that in a hotter and drier climate from global warming shifting to shorter duration and more drought and heat tolerant crops make all the sense in the world. Millet has all the qualities needed for robust stable yield in adverse conditions but also is highly nutritive and can help manage global epidemic of type 2 diabeters.
