What temperature range is safe for using a tube furnace with pure oxygen?

I must measure the oxidation resistance of several cobalt-based super alloys. Since time is short, it might be a good idea to leave them in a tube furnace filled with pure oxygen to accelerate the process. This is more dangerous than using an inert gas. What temperature ranges are safe to use with pure oxygen?

What is your tube furnace made from? How much sample will you be using? What is the pressure of the oxygen? What temperatures do you want to operate at?

For a furnace made from silicon dioxide I would think you could reach 1000C safely. Maybe using Al2O3 you could get to 2000C. But then you have the problem of the heater. Maybe MoSi2?
