In various developing countries like India, Agriculture sector still occupies a dominant position, and it will always be. In what way, the technology may help the farmers to earn more.Apart from technologically superior agri solutions, what more may be expected in days to come.
I think , climate resilient agriculture takes a centre stage in any form of agriculture.

In terms of increasing the productivity of our agricultural base I would suggest producers need to look to differentiation of the products they produce. In addition to project the value of the differentiation they have been their products. As farmers offer distinct values through the aspects of their production methods it allows them to open up venues for broader market and increase prices. This is fundamental to getting more out of our often limited personal resource base. I think certified organic products which become renowned and identified and have premium prices is a good example of that strategy. Of course agriculture starts with the soil and this is often not optimized so the producer may want to start holistically but with a soil focus. Finally what ever we measure we can improve so as producers we need to baseline and monitor our results toward defined goals. Best Wishes, Paul

When introducing technological innovation in areas where farmers are the majority of the population there, one should take into consideration the following variables:
- more innovative technology is introduced lower is the number of farmers who will be apt to cope with this technology, so this introduction should be accompanied by a plan to supply to the underemployed farmers new remunerating employment which will enable them to survive next to the more modernized farmers.
- Innovative technology means the need for capital, which is a very expensive stuff and very rare, so only few farmers, minority of the existing farmers would be able to bet engaged in the new technology. So, there exists the need to find remunerative solution to the majority of the rural population, to those who are unable to enter to the world of innovative in agriculture.
The risk for the developmental officers in charge of rural development plans is that they neglect the whole aspect of the development process.
Developing technologies that can be adapted by small farmers will hold the key.
I would stress that water is the most limiting aspect of food production and water is not found in unlimited quantites from this aspect the advancement of efficient irrigation is super important for advancement. Without optimized drainage and irrigation there is an inability to optimize our agricultural system.
There is no alternative to technology innovation in modern agriculture. The agriculture sector as a whole is facing huge challenges, from rising costs of supplies, a shortage of labor, and changes in consumer preferences. In these contexts the agriculture sector has evidenced some major technological innovations such as indoor vertical farming, farm automation and use of robotics, modern greenhouse practices, precision agriculture and artificial intelligence, and blockchain.
Many such as organic and chemical fertilizers, genetic engineering and genetic changes.
In my country, Iraq ... it is the government that supervises prices.
