What nomenclature prevails for a microorganism (bacteria) if it is taxonomically classified by biochemical methods in a well-defined specie, but when the molecular method (eg 16S) is applied it is located in a different genus and specie than the clasification by the biochemical method?

Nowadays, the molecular method is much more accepted and trustworthy as compared to that of biochemical ones. So, according to my view going for molecular methods is a better option

Thanks for your answers. I think the most complete answer is the one provided by Rocktim RD. I believe that both methods should be considered, although 16S prevails.
