Most commonly used and available substrate for antenna design is FR4. However, such substrates can not be used for antennas operating at 10 GHz or more. Possible candidates as substrates seem to be arlon diclad 880 and rogers 5880. But are they available in India? How to procure them? Kindly suggest suppliers or any other procurement process. Thanks
Rogers substrates are available in India also but these are costly. Large array antenna array are mostly designed using these substrates for remote sensing satellites.

The Rogers substrate materials such as Rogers RT/Duroid laminates series 5870/5880 and RT Duroid 6000 series laminates are available in India. These substrate materials are operated on above 10 GHz. If you have to design the antennas, filters, dividers, microwave devices then refer the RT/duroid 5880 substrate because this material is easily available in India and widely used. If you want to design microwave component for 5G communication applications then go to Rogers 5880 material.
In India, the probable supplier for this material is Active Devices Inc. Mumbai. Please keep in mind that the cost of materials is very high as compared to FR-4 substrate.
