Hire / delegate one of your students to assist in the research projects, if they have interest in the research. Have them complete small parts of the research project at time, not massive amounts of it, and then as they complete them, review the findings together to compile it in the way you need to present it.

Mayada, great question! First they must have an interest, and if their background will lend itself to the research. Are they excited to look deeper, and find out the 'why' behind many questions? You would plausibly need to facilitate for them the understanding of the project on two levels, first the broader overview, macro scale, and then on the micro scale, smaller views as they are then divided into categories for easier comprehension and retention. Best not to overwhelm even an eager student. Give them some room to fail, because sometimes failure can lead to success! Also, upon them compiling research, have them write about parts of it. Perhaps that could become a percentage (?) of their grade falling under extracurricular activities. Also, have them search for the evidence-based findings to dive deeper into each category.
