My research is about teachers' competence to programming languages. These teachers will come from two universities in a city. I will conduct a survey much like an exam in which the teachers will answer the correct programming language in each item. Instead of comparing the answers from each university, I will compare their answers to an expert in programming language. The expert will answer the same set of questionnaire given to the teachers. The objective is to find out the validity of using an expert as a research method.
I suggest you follow the attached book. Best computing tools are MATLAB, Python and R.
Jeremie, you could possibly compare the two groups answering the same questions using a Wilcoxon signed-rank test. This can be done using SPSS or R. It's similar to a t-Test

If the evaluation is quantitative, we use the ANOVA for more than two groups, and if compare only two groups, we use the T-test.
If the evaluation is qualitative like (good, better, best) , go to chi-sequare Test.
