Dear Herpetologists,
Being in Burma in 2011 in Mandalay City, I found a lot of agamas sitting on trees near the Kings Palace channel. These for my mind are from Genera Calotus, but when using Jacob Hallermann's key from 2000, I saw differences of this species from possible three species known from this part of Burma, as: C. emma, C. mystaceus and C. jerdoni. Moreover, colors of looking the same species males differ seriously. Is that just polymorphism, gender dimorphism or agamas can change its color and what kind is this species?

Looks like Calotes mystaceus - the second picture shows a pretty typical pattern. This is also the species more commonly found in parks etc. I do think they can indeed change colour, and the limits as to how much could vary from one individual to another.
What was the season they were found?
Looks C. mystaceus for me too, but not fully developing breeding colors.
but take into mind they are may be variable due to its large range.
I found botrh Calotus & Calotes generic names Muhammad. You are all herpetologists, say me which is more correct ?
The very rainy Mikhail. But if remember well, like now. Have no much time to verify, as preparing tomorrowevening flight from Bangkok (I'm living here now) for Jakarta and Ujung Kulon.

Calotes versicolor is the common garden lizard in the subcontinent, found widely throughout India and Pakistan. see pic attaced
The lizard in question has nothing in common either way with "bloodsucker" or Calotes emma or C. jerdoni, or any of Japalura species.
I agree with Serban and Mikhail, the photographed animals would be regarded to represent Calotes mystaceus.
