For speed vessels and medium and small ships, maxsurf is good for resistance and stability. Even if you have a software, some experience is essential to fix the dimensions, make general arrangement and so on.....
In which phase you want to work? Preliminary design, conceptual design, basic design or engineering and detail design?
Which part of the ship design problem you want to cover? Hydrodynamics, hydrostatic, structure, etc.
Unfortunately, it is impossible to have a software which covers all above mentioned areas.
You should note that, each of the software you mentioned is related to one of the areas. For example, Tribon is mostly used in engineering and detail design phase, while Autoship and Maxsurf are mostly used in conceptual and basic phase.
I think Maxsurf and Autoship are very good software for ship design. However, in my point of view, one of the advantages of Maxsurf is it has many hull forms in its data based, which can be used easily in the first step of your project (you can modify the given hull form to reach to the required one).
Different soft ware support is requires at Lines generation, stability analysis, resistance calculation, structural weight estimation and piping, etc......
