Sex education has always included advice on how to have a baby, how to avoid a baby and sexual disease. But why does no one discuss how a couple can maintain a sexual relationship over decades? Why is it considered immoral to recommend techniques for orgasm and enjoying sexual pleasure?
Thanks Agnes. Women often refer to safe sex rather than sexual pleasure. By safe sex, I assume you mean avoiding pregnancy and sexual disease? These topics are generally covered even in the basic education provided by schools. My point is that no one explains how orgasm is achieved or what techniques women might use to enjoy sexual pleasure. This gap is probably due to women's aversion to any erotic content as evidenced by the universal censorship of any sexual content in our society. This impedes the process of sex education and ensures that sexual ignorance continues unabated.
I agree with you that sex education in schools at home does not really put open on other aspects like orgasms, techniques and explaining honestly the full details on sex orgasms. Women discover on their own, which they should have learnt before they start their sex life. I think traditions on sex example in my country its deep rooted that people still avoids the topic which later becomes a problem in the society. Further research should done to include those topics in education curriculum.
