Oh Prof !!!! I must honestly accept one thing , when I do not understand something , I say "philosophy " and when I really do not want to, then "theology "

All in all , both of them are rooted to what I was born into (simple !!!!!)

I guess it is a combination of what we are taught and told growing up ....

Theology tries to answer how the knowledge of a God or a religion impact the life of a certain social group. Therefore, only many sources are able to support such study. It should be explored fields as sociology, philosophy, history, linguistics, geography, archeology, religious dogmas and their sacred books. One source would be a directed study which will conclude what is desired by religious leaders in order to control people.

Sources of theology should include experience, especially personal experiences of God in the present age.

I consider that the Source of Theology is basically the text or writings that have been considered root and basis of a certain religion. For example Koran, Torah and Bible (New and Old Testament)

It is usually the result of the intellectual and emotional work of great men who embody their vision and mission in this world, in the form of a narrative of emotional and spiritual experiences, which translate into texts and that lead their actions in the humanitarian coexistence with their fellow men.

This origin can be shared with other extraordinary and enlightened beings, who preach and write the sacred texts in the form of doctrines, commandments, parables and metaphors. All this in order that the faith of this belief may not perish; and at the same time, transmit it to other followers or to evangelize and convert.

Finally, other sources will give body and strength to the Theological Source, and these are the History of Religion, Religious Culture, Philosophy, etc.

Considero que la Fuente de la Teología es básicamente el texto o escritos que se han considerado raíz y base de cierta religión. Por ejemplo Corán, Torá y Biblia (Nuevo y Antiguo Testamento)

Generalmente es el resultado del trabajo intelectual y emocional de grandes hombres que plasman su visión y misión en este mundo, en forma de narrativa de experiencias emocionales y espirituales, que plasman en textos y que conducen sus acciones en la convivencia humanitaria con sus semejantes.

Este origen puede ser compartido con otros seres extraordinarios e iluminados, que predican y escriben los textos sagrados en forma de doctrinas, mandamientos, parábolas y metáforas. Todo ello con el fin de que no perezca la fe de dicha creencia; y al mismo tiempo, poder transmitirla a otros adeptos o para evangelizar y convertir.

Finalmente, otras fuentes darán cuerpo y fortaleza a la Fuente Teológica, y estas son la Historia de la Religión, la Cultura Religiosa, la Filosofía, etc.

A company when introduces its product in the market it provides an operative manual along with it to guide the users how to use it , what are the precautions , what factors may damage it and how to repair it if it goes out of order etc if some one neglects that manual and uses his own experiences or philosophy about this product what will happen we all know

Similarly GOD has given the operative manual for all human beings in the form of book as he descended the man on earth which are TORAAT, ZABOOR, INJEEL(BIBLE) and finally the QURAN all these are direction for human beings what to do and what not to do and explained by Prophets how to do. These are the best sources of theology as compared to experiences and philosophy as both may vary from person to person and region to region.

Last and latest edition of directions for human beings from the Almighty GOD(ALLAH) is the Quran so it should be studied and understood for this purpose while rest of the books are old edition from the Almighty GOD (ALLAH).

There are various religions all over the world. They have their own beliefs. Mine will not match with your's. Your's will not match with mine. How can we generalize the question !!!

To do theology one is speaking about their understanding of God. To dictate what sources should be used and in what percentages is to attempt to dictate what someone may say about their understanding. Each person must make their own choices in the matter. The only advice I would share would be that which was shared with me by Herr Doktor Hans Schwartz, and that is, when, not if but when, you use science in your theology, be as certain as you can be that it is correct.

It MAY BE through faith, and faith alone that we develop our theology. That we would measure this faith against scripture, against science.

Faith tempers our minds and softens our hearts. Faith opens our eyes and completes our thoughts; even writes the words that bind men together. Faith connects ME to YOU and YOU to ME.

** Faith may allow us to reject current indeterminate forms of our physics, to reject probabilities. Today we find ONE PRINCIPLE to define all things, to define all atomic interaction(s). You call it LOVE. Science calls it Robust Entanglement, RE.

** And, it is Faith, that may allow us to reject the current form of our symbolic language; mathematics, as nature is defined first, by one principle in Love or RE, it offers us both character and reference in our language. It is in our descriptions of nature and thus in our variables that leaves our current variables vulnerable to mis-reference(s); as we do so in three separate classes (6,6,6) (as twenty-four factorial combinations (24!) of two pairs of variables, combine to make all possibilities, three classes of them or 18 of them create mis-references.) One combination of 6, comes together to form a natural event, in ROBUST ENTANGLEMENT.
