The International Conference on Research Methodology and Scientific Writing aims to provide knowledge that allows research scholars, teachers and practitioners to achieve the research goals and methods in the most effective way. The conference also determines the effectiveness of methods and techniques of scientific writing and shows how to develop them and also seeks to find out the best ways that enable the researcher to develop both quantitative and qualitative outcomes.
The goal of the conference is to develop understanding of the research methodology, its application for solving problems and various aspects of scientific writing. As the selection of research method and scientific writing are crucial in the research process, the conference intends to equip the participants with knowledge and skill in the research problem formulation, choosing appropriate method and data gathering devices, analyzing the data(both quantitative and qualitative) and in the scientific writing.
I believe that ethical considerations and dilemmas in doing research (as well as not doing research) is an important topic. For example valuable trauma-related research may be hindered when the risks of asking participants about traumatic events are not carefully weighed against the benefits of their participation in the research. However informants who might be vulnerable to distress should be treated with care and the research must be ethically and methodological sound.
