The principle of equality has been considered since a long time ago (at least in the more developed countries). However it looks still tolerated (if not supported) all over the world all kind of social disequilibrium (larger or smaller) and discrimination, whatever the state of the development of the countries. Is this principle established in the fundamental law of your country? What are the causes of some great inequalities observed and discriminations? What can be the possible solutions, and what should be the role of the researchers (if any)?
