What should be the minimum length of segments for Case Control study in Road safety?

Hello Everyone,

I am working on Case Control study on an MDR (Major District Road). Can anyone tell me what should be the minimum length of the segment? Any suggestion or trick will be helpful. I have a total of 24 km long road length in my study. I have to divide it into equal length of segments. Please suggest anything you know about.
