What should be the gauge pressure in pressure outlet bondary condition with Subsonic and Supersonic flow at the pressure outlet?

It is known that the solver only takes the value of gauge pressure only when the flow is subsonic.

So what should be the value for gauge pressure??

Should it be ambient pressure?
