i want to forge a circular billet in to a rectangular bar (figure and dimensions are attached in doc) using open die hydraulic press forging . Can any one guide me what should be the design of Die for that purpose.? secondly what should be the daylight and opening height?

One more thing. For me is neccesary that you put the initial cylinder with your axis normal to the machine forging direction.

Actually i want to make a drawing of die required to produce a given shape in attached doc. i think die design would be of rectangular shape of required dimension with some draft angles etcc. can u please help me out to clarifty it?
I do not expect that you will have any success in this project unless you make your billet volume slightly larger that the finished forged volume.
Your forged product will be better quality if corners are rounded. If precise dimensions are required, subsequent machining will be required, so the dimensions of your former will need to be slightly larger.
I think that you need first to aproximate the square area with this type of machine:

After you can use the V die with radius in the corner (see Birks answer), in other machine, for example, an hydraulic press.
