Seeking a questionnaire to use in a research study to assess the extent to which employees value sustainability and take sustainable actions such as to reduce/reuse/recycle.
I would suggest you developing your own questionnaire with questions about sustainability you wish to be answered. Your instrument must be valid and consistent. In other words, it has to be reliable and able to measure what you really wish to measure. You may start by considering concepts about sustainability as you wrote here in your question (e.g.: values, actions, recycling, and more). Then you may want to seek the assistance of a panel of experts in sustainability ( used 5 in the development of my survey, which I am attaching here). The paper here attached will show you in details what I did. I trust that this methodology could be applicable to your study as well. Also, consulting a good manual about assessment (e.g.: Patton, 1990 and/or Popham, 1993) will be needed (I think) as you move along with the construction of your own survey instrument.
Thank you for your reply Bruno. We prefer to use an existing questionnaire instead of creating our own. Have been scanning through the Journal of Business Ethics, Ecological Economics and similar sources to come across relevant ones.
If you are looking at surveys that have been designed already make sure that they have fulfilled the requirements for reliability and content validity. Best of luck to you and your research project.
