What percentage of carbon nano tubes should be added to the concrete mix?

The most correct CNT content dependson the effectiveness of dispersion, i. e. the dispersion method you use. If you put in more CNT that would be effectively disperse, the CNT agglomerations will act as defects in the matrix, therefore weaken your concrete. Since the dispersion depends on the type of nanotubes, their functionalization and the treatment parameters (sonication) and/or surfactants (type, quantity, mixing sequence), for each application first you should develop the correct dispersion method and obtain the correct CNT percentage. Anyway, it should be around 0,05-0,5% of cement weight (that's most of the researches have been using).
