I'm seeking to update my laptop to a new one, or desktop. I have found that I can fiddle around with structures with this current 6th gen i7, 8 gb lenovo 700 with these internal graphics cards https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/hd-graphics-520.c2783. So rendering final >600 dpi publication images or heavy electron density maps is not happening.

Many people prefer Macs and Macbooks for such graphical tasks. I prefer staying on Linux. If someone would suggest a laptop, desktop, or graphics card model (Linux compatible), that makes molecular graphics an enjoyable work task, that would be much appreciated :)!
