In Solanum quitoense (Lulo o Naranjilla) there are no advanced molecular studies. Besides, there are no SNPs designed for this species and I want to know what other molecular markers can be used to make genomic selection.
Thanks for the answer Peter... if there are no SNPs for the species, which is the first step that allows me to initiate with a program of genomic selection....or what can i do to obtain SNPs in Solanum quitoense.
P.S: Your contributions are very important to continue with my research, thank you so much
You are welcome. RFLPs are very tricky ..., AFLPs are quite stable, ITS or other spacers require some studies to make sure that there are enough differences among the strains.
