Hi all,
I was wondering if any of you have recommendations for a good online survey platform for teaching research methods to students? We have been using SurveyMonkey, but the platform has recently narrowed licencing to allow only two users per account. As a result it is now far too expensive for us to use.
We are looking for something that costs around the same as SM ( around USD$350 for an account), and which allows us hierarchical access: ie, a superuser or two (lecturers) and a multitude of ordinary (student) users.
We have tried contacting LimeSurveys, but we have stalled at trying to generate an invoice for payment and after tearing our hair out for eight weeks have now given up on them.
Any other suggestions will be gratefully received!

What online survey platforms are good for teaching research?
Perhaps you can explore Google Forms which are free, can create 100+ questions in a single survey questionnaire without restriction & can take up to few hundreds respondents' responses without issue.

Unfortunately Google Forms are just a wee bit too limited for us. We are using Google Forms in the interim until we can find a robust platform replacement, but Google Forms are not ideal. While they are free (yay!) they lack analysis tools and data presentation options which many of the other platforms have.
Sam Young did you ever find an answer to your question about Qualtrics? I have been using it but have found it to be a bit "glitchy" as some of my respondents have reported depending upon their web browser.
