Hi everyone, Most studies on nanoplate instability focus on mechanical loads like compression. But in real-world conditions, I imagine other, less obvious factors could also trigger buckling or warping.

Besides thermal effects, morphogenesis, or voltage, are there other non-mechanical stimuli known to cause instability in nanoplates? Any ideas or references would be greatly appreciated!
