I have used the hydrothermal route to reduced the GO and produce foam.The spectrum of the foam is attached.With increasing number of layers,the peak intensity goes down.Could that be the reason why the 2D peak has such low intensity?
G band is the identification mark for graphite and its derivatives, basically it is coming for the SP2 hybridization. D band indicates amount of defects is the structure, and 2D band provides the stacking information of SP2 layers. for this reason graphite has no 2D band and pristine graphene has highest intensity for 2D band.
