My background is in Computer Science so I know that my question may be trivial/stupid...
I am developing a system with an Hyperspectral camera that makes images of some food on a background. I would like to have a background that has a spectrum with a reflectance close to zero for all the wavelengths (400-1000nm) in order to easily segment the objects that lie on it.
Should I use a specific material or rather a calibration procedure to achieve this goal?
