The ancients observed the sky, i. e. the macrocosm; people of today, through the use of computers enter the microcosm (sub-sensible region of the world); through a chip of semiconductor material, such as silicon, we enter the microcosm and, in place of the heavens of fixed stars, we meet silicon atoms, and through them images. Any thoughts?
For the ancients the macrocosm came up to the cristalline sky. For us men and women of the twenty-first century the silicon crystals doped with arsenic is a new form of crystalline sky. The computer and internet especially open to the human a door toward a new world. Not the astronomical discoveries and geographical but the world of global intersubjectivity.
