An event-related potential (ERP) is the measured brain response that is the direct result of a specific sensory, cognitive, or motor event. Differ from Behavioral Measures ERPs provide a continuous measure of processing between a stimulus and a response, making it possible to determine which stage(s) are being affected by a specific experimental manipulation. This is about neurolinguistics.

it is important to know time locking is the base of ERP for this reason this procedure find some answer for temporal resolusion whis means which process come from sooner than other in the brain.what what is important is there are lack of many ERP studys about Persian. For instance we do not know many things even about visual perception of Persian Alphabet. Mnay things are new hear to do.what is different between horizental and vertical alphabet in Farsi? what happen perceptualy? what happen in disorders such as LD?
